Hello all! New to the forum. B18B1 T build soon.
What's up guys? Just joined the forum and would like to introduce who I am and what i plan for the future.
Little backround info, My name is Sean, I am a welder/Fabricator Located in New York. Been interested in the Honda world since I got my first car 3 years ago. A 2000 Accord sedan (F23a) ever since then my next dream car has been an EG hatch. I plan on making so many new custom parts and ideas to stand out from most Bubbles and finding one where i live that has not been modified or beat on is a rare sight. There are literally two hatches that have sketchy swaps and are missing a lot on craiglist out of the 2000 or so hondas listed. So my first step is to get a nice clean stock hatch and start from there. My next goal would be to build a B18T setup after a lot of research and practice. I just picked up a 93' B18B1 with the stock head, block, IM, crank pulley, and a few other odds and ends for $100!. The condition of the motor is TBD with the time I put into it taking it apart and seeing if anything on it is good. I mostly picked up the motor for two reasons... well three. the first being who doesn't buy things out on a whim and when they wake up say... "hmm what should I buy today?" lol. The second being the price, and the third being if I'm going to build better start with learning the engine and working my way around it with an engine that might have some problems so I can see them in the future if need be. Everyone starts somewhere!
So all in all in the near future I'll be selling my DD slow accord, and picking up a stock 92-94 EG hatch and upgrade the brakes/suspension etc. while building my B18B1 turbo setup and swap that thing in there! So if anyone reads this, look out for the thread on the $100 B18 and eventually an EG hatch welding extravaganza thread! Thanks Honda-tech!

Might do some suspension and brake for my gf in the future. (not a Civic driver myself) Trying to keep costs down, too. And impress her lol. What do you see it costing you?
