Thoughts on OEM Log Lights on PY 2001 Integra Type-R
HT / Fellow ITR owners,
Regarding OEM fog lights for 2001 model (Part # 08V31-ST7-201), I've asked a few people on their thoughts on the looks and most of them said it doesn't look right. However, I'm on the fence and wanted to know if anyone has any thoughts on how this would look on PY ITR? I feel like there would be a lot going if I added them, especially with the bumper turn signals. If I do get them...I am thinking of adding the yellow tints to them. Any thoughts on that as well?
I am aware that I can do what I please but there will be other people looking at my car when it's being driven. Any feedback is much appreciated!

I'd say the same, do what you think looks best.
But also, remember that you have to cut a little bit of the black plastic in the front bumper's grill. If you ever get tired of the fogs and take them out, it will definitely be an eye sore.. at least to me it would..
With that being said, if I ever had a spare oem py paint front bumper I'd install fogs in a heartbeat just knowing I can go back to a non-foglight look without the holes.
-just my 2cents

Ive been on the issue for 10 years lol. Some days they look great, some days it looks too busy and I dont like them. Same feeling with the UK tail lights. Sometimes its cool. Other times its like having 4 white reverse lights:/
Thanks for the feedback guys! I love how responsive the Honda community is!
it does seem like there's a lot going on if I got them..
I like the UKDM fogs too. If I didn't have to buy a whole new UKDM front end to support that I would get it in a heartbeat
yea that is something that I have to consider since I have to cut into the grill...
thanks for sharing a picture.. that is actually pretty nice! What did you use to tint the fog lights?
yeah that's why I feel iffy on spending $200 on the kit... I think I just want OEM parts/accessories (while I can still get them)

To answer OP's question, I think the Type R's front end looks much better sans foglights. Its supposed to be a minimalistic car. Adding accesories is for GSR's. The people who you're blinding likely won't find them attractive either

:-)
I recently bought a brand new set and put them on my R. I've always like the way they look, plus with how much the OEM headlights on our cars suck, it's nice having the added light on the road.
