Default 2001 accord lx

So I'm new to hondas... I've always been a volkswagen guy buy I may be coming to the dark side.

Here's the deal. I'm looking at picking up a 2001 accord lx with 119k on the clock. The only issues I've found are the ac leaks, the valve cover gasket needs to be replaced, and the shifter inside the cabin sits all the way to the right...

The shifter is the only thing that worries me. What would cause this to happen? It shifts super smooth and doesn't pop out but when you put it in neutral and let go of the shifter it pops to the right, instead of centered like it should be.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It's possible the shifter bushings are worn out or busted. Go check out the shifter junction at the top of the tranny while the guy fiddles with the shifter in the car.

Thanks Manny! I had a feeling it may have just been bushings but I've never seen it just slump to one side before.
