Helping a friend get his tsx on the road. He bought a k24a1 out of a crv but didn't come with passenger post mount or front and rear motor mount brackets...just wondering what is needed? Crv brackets and post mount or tsx k24a2 post mount and brackets? We will be using the stock tsx motor mounts for the swap...

He should of stuck with a k24a2. Making the k24a1 work in the tsx is going to be a pain as a full swap. Unless you can get a k24a2 cylinder head and swap it over onto the K24a1 bottom end. I dont know if there will be any interference between valves and pistons though. Someone that knows K series could chime in.

 

Would it be worth it if you just switched the k24a2 head onto the k24a1 block? I’m pretty much wanting to do the same thing Bc I recently blew mine.
