Default D16 Smoke After Sitting

My d16 turbo build is going to the dyno in 2 weeks, ive been noticing that after the car sits for say a couple days, it will smoke out tailpipe however not when idling.

So when the car is started no smoke. I let it warm up until oil pressure drops to 20psi and temps are up and then pull away. On throttle applications is when i am seeing the smoke, leaving a stop, leaving lights etc. Only for maybe two mins or less then it clears up and no more smoke.

Car does not smoke in boost, theres no oil residue on the tailpipe either.

I want to point the finger to valve seals however it should smoke on initial startup if that is the issue. Not just on throttle applications.
Is it possible that the turbo is leaking some oil when sitting?? Then as soon as it spools a bit it burns that oil off and then its good?

Sounds like it's starving, Actually.

Post photos of your feed line at the turbo's oil inlet, showing any restrictions either fitting or plates, including what size the opening.

Photos of the oil return line from the side angle. Looking at proper slope odd the line as well

Sounds like the turbo is starving? How come the smoke then?

I will post photos of the fewd and the return, feed goes into 90 deg fitting on a plate. Return is 10an braided should be no reatrictions there I will say the oil level on the car is juuust above the full line after sitting though. Pictures coming.

Sounds like a turbine seal issue.

when oil pressure increases with RPM the turbine seal will expand slightly with that increase in pressure, if there is a problem slowing down or preventing that from happening you get oil past the piston ring seal and you get smoke.

I was behind a dude in an S60R the other day with this exact problem and I was in traffic like "you have a turbo problem" lol

Thanks!! This is totally possible, however this problem ONLY occurs after the car has sat a few days. And only on the first half a dozen or a dozen throttle applications then no more smoke. With 1000km on this car the oil level has not moved at all so its a marginal amount of oil.

This would be a simple valve seal problem but you dont get the smoking at Idle wich is very un-characteristic of valve seals.
