Default Help. Won't start after running

I have a 96 accord ex with a 2.2L non V-tech. I can start and drive the car without issue. Runs fine and idles fine. Turn it off and it will not start back up. Eventually it will start up fine and run. I have replaced the fuel injectors and run fuel injector cleaner. Not sure where to go from here. Any advice will be most welcome.

Search "ECT" or "Main Relay".

And did someone swap out the VTEC motor?

Thanks for the info. I have changed the main relay already. I will check the ECT, and the motor is original.

I am going to assume that it is a Canadian chassis EX...... The Canadian CD Accord w/VTEC is an Ex-R

Where it is OBDII, do you have access to an OBD scanner? That would really help you out if it has live data capabilities. So many curse the OBD, but it can tell you a lot about what the engine is doing and what sensors might be a bit off.

i had this problem with a bad cap/rotor, after running it and stopping and letting it sit for a little bit it starts to heat soak and plastic expands when it gets hot so it wasn't making good contact(atleast this is what the conclusion i came to because it stopped after i replaced those)
