2001 CBR600 - No spark
HI, had a look through the forum at a couple of similar topics, and followed some of the advice given in them, but still got a dead bike.
The bike was off the road for about 10mths, the fitted alarm died and was removed. The bike will turn over, but no spark at the plugs.
The FI error codes were 18 - cam pulse error, & 19 Ign Pulse gen. Checked through all the wiring and cleared the cam pulse error but not the ign one.
Voltage from the ign pickup @ the ECU is 2.5V, so to me that is working, checked through side stand switch etc and have shorted them out completely still no joy.
Coil resistance is good, new plugs have been tried at a loss now - I have ordered a new pickup from fleabay - cheaper than a new ECU.
Any other area I should look at?
