not bad for a single cam on a 50 shot on street tires,let me know what you guys think

 

i was running 27 psi on azenis,i'm going to up it to a 60 and go to the dyno and tune it a bit ,lol well i could lose the motor oh and yeah it's a d16z6

the motor might have 83k on it,and i have dc 4-1,aem cai,chipped p28,and greddy exhaust

 

nice. i too have a d16 and am also looking to get some hp in a bottle.

 

it's great if you use it wisely,i think i would of broken 13's if it wouldn't of been so cold,also i think my nozzle placement isn't all that great,but good luck

We don't have a 1/4 mi track around here, but the last time I ran the 1/8 mi, I ran:

r/t- .906
60ft- 2.208
330- 6.473
1/8mi- 10.023
mph- 69.49

I also had a run that was 10.02x @ 70.xx, but I misplaced the timeslip. This was in a 95 Civic coupe, with CAI/H/E on BFG rubber @ 33 psi up front.

thanks guys i was surprised myself,but i'm going to up it to a 60shot and try to get some slicks and see what the car does hopefully low 13's

 

talk to bone man. slicks, zex nitrous, bolt ons, cam gear i believe, d16z6 in a dx hatch. 13.1 or something. bone

You are almost there...... Thats an awesome run conisdering you weren't running slicks.

 

i also have a d16z6 with 114XXX miles and it has been driven hard would nitrous be a good idea or would it harm the engine nneding more speed

 

That is a very good time considering you were on street tires. Did you run open exaust? I think slicks will help you a lot too. Damm now where did I put my nitrous kit?

 

well thanks guys,hmm i think your motor would take a 50 shot with no problem as long as you have taken care of it as far timing belt,water pump etc. also i was running full exhaust ,hopefully go again on slicks and open header see if that helps,i think it should, i really want this car to go 13.0's on a 70 shot with slicks,i think it shouldn't be that hard after tuning,and building up the bottle pressure
