Best Head: D15b single Vtec Vs Zc Sohc Vtec Vs D16Z6
"D15B" encompasses all versions so without specifying anything, there are equivalents for each kind. The differences really come from the camshaft and those differences are quite minimal (if at all).
Also it's important to note that it's not just the head that makes a setup stronger or weaker.
For SOHC vtec engines, the D15B JDM Single Stage Vtec motor is considered the best of the bunch over all others.
However, slapping that head on a D16 block is not going to net you anything more than the stock D16Z6 engine and may even fall a little short.
Really, you can't consider just a head without taking into consideration the specs of the block.
Where as, slapping a D16Y8 head onto a D15B/2/7 block will net you even more than the best SOHC Vtec stock engines with about 140 HP. It's not just the head that is doing the work.

Wow!!!!!!!!!
Really??? A 104 HP non vtec will jump to 140hp just by replacing the y8 head??
What else can be done to a d16 vtec block?? Can a d17 Crank be implanted in it??
