Default 1993 Honda Accord F22A1 Suggested Exhaust System

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a performance exhaust for my accord, I'm looking for a nice deep mellow tone, nothing super high pitched and tinny sounding. If anybody has some good suggestions, please throw them my way. Thanks! :D

I bought a spec d cat back for my f22b1 off Amazon for like $120.. It doesnt sound too bad. A lot better than when my muffler broke off the pipe. Ill try to get a video for you sometime. There might be one on YouTube already

That exhaust went out of style around here about 10 years ago. It will also most likely be very loud.

IMO I'd look for something a little nicer like an Apexi WS2.

Mine is the a similar style and I still like it. I dont care if its out of style. I needed an exhaust and for the price im very pleased. With the baffle in, its actually not very loud. Ill get a video soon!
I only wish I would have sprayed it with high temp clear coat or something though to keep the rust off. Very salty winters here.

This is the one I bought. I'm sure they make one for your year though if you look.

Try to find it on youtube? There probably isnt much difference between the two exhausts honestly, they look very similar.

Uploaded a quick video for you with a quick blast.

That didnt sound too bad and that was a fairly low rev. 4k maybe? my f22 tachs out near 7k.

The main reason I was thinking of the one I linked is because the headers come with it. buying them seperate would cost more. trying to be easy on the wallet for now, yaknow

Yeah around 4k id say. I didnt wanna redline it cuz it was like 10pm and I have neighbors that are old and cranky.

im sure the one you linked sounds similar. My muffler rusted off and it was terribly loud so I went with the cheap amazon catback cuz I didnt need headers. I think the same brand has the headers for like $80.

Do you have access to a lift? It will make this job ten times easier. I couldnt imagine doing it on jackstands.. Especially when I had to saw the old pipe off and angle grind the rusted bolts on the cat flange..

Good luck!

Nope, no lift, I have to drive on ramps that i use alot, been with me for a long time. Ill get the headers and everything bolted down then use some steel wire to hold the exhaust up and have my mechanic weld the exhaust on.

And also if you wouldnt mind. Id love to hear a redline rev, if you could
