Would Like to Convert RT-AWD to Switch with 4wd
I own a 2001 Honda CR-V; I am very familiar with the RT-AWD system, but am not completely satisfied with it.
Does anyone know of a way to keep the current hardware and system in the car, but fool the RT-AWD with a switch to become a 2wd/4wd system.
I would like a permanent 2/4wd system because 95 percent of the time 2wd would be fine, but the 5 percent of the time, I risk burning out the pump in super steep snowy conditions. Could I just wire a switch????
