Will a 99 accord manual transmission work in a 2002 accord with a automatic?

Is this for the "crash" car? How is that coming along.

 

No, this is for one I was looking at on craigslist that just needs a transmission. I have a 99 parts car I bought site unseen (will never do again) for the crashed car. I was going to use the body parts on the crashed car. When it got here it was beat up all over. I only paid $250. for it but paid another $150. to have it towed 70 miles to my house. The positive about it is it has a new clutch and a good 5 speed transmission. So I have the pedals and all the manual transmission parts. The guy will take $400. for the one on craigslist and it says all it needs is a transmission. Am going to look at it today. I was thinking switch out tranny and sell it for a profit. As for the crashed car all it needs now is a hood and front bumper cover. They have had several at the 2 u pull it yards near me but they go really quick. Seems 01 and 02 accords get in a lot of front end collisions

 

So is the 02 already a manual car?

 

It could not be that easy,lol. It has a automatic. I went to look at the car and it is nice and the engine runs good. But now I have my doubts if it will work or not. The 02 is a 6 cyl. and the 99 is a 4cyl. Will a transmission off a 4 cyl. work on a 6cyl.?

Look where the engines are located.
