Poll: What Should I do?
I have a few options ...pending on if HU is developed for E.C.H.C.
If HU is developed then I'll run the Civic no question.
The Toda pistons and the Toda ITB make the Civic illegal for HU before anyone asks (as well as some other modifications).

The S2000 will be more expensive to prepare and much more expensive to repair if you get in an incident.
If you're independently wealthy and money is no issue, run the s2000. If not, take the Civic back to H3 spec and get your *** whipped by the sKiLLz mAstA.

Take my word for it, the first time you strike something (anything) in the S2000, you're not gonna like the financial ramifications.
FWIW-Mitch once told me the he "never wants to work on an S2000 again," but I'm sure he could be convinced with the right enticements.

Last year I was instructing at Pocono East course. We were doing a Fri, Sat, Sun event where the Friday was just for advanced/instructor folks. one of the advanced students was in a brand new S2000, bone bone stock with 3k miles. stock tires, Honda pads, stock stock stock.
he had been trying to follow me around in my H1 Civic and I was pulling away fairly quickly. he asked if I would take out the S2000 with him in it to show him the "fast way" around. Who was I to say "no"?
within 5 laps I was turning faster laps by about 1 second than my H1 car. this is in a car with no race brakes, no race tires, and a passenger!!!
so I would say, if you want to race in H1, get the S2000, simply put in the safety equipment required, buy a good set of race brakes and tires, and go dominate H1. you don't need shocks, swaybars, springs, cold air intakes, chips, exhaust; you need nothing; that car is awesome, as delivered from the factory.
don't hit anything and drive within your limits; exploit the strengths of the car; you will do well in H1 if you can drive....
good luck,
Todd
PS I will be green with envy if you show up in the S2000. It was a beautiful car to drive....
