2001 CRV - A/C work sometimes.
The A/C in my 2001 CRV 5 speed manual will work when the engine is at idle only. On 5% of my travels the A/C works normally and doesn't cut out but most of the time only at idle to I get cold air.
If I am at a stop light, coasting down a hill with the car out of gear, etc... it blows cold and strong. But when I engage the engine in nearly any capacity the A/C instantly blows warm air until the engine is disengaged.
Research leads me to a Pressure Switch but I don't really know if that is what I should try (or even where it is
)
Any suggestions?

to me it sounds more like the compressor is over heating.. too much freon/oil .. get that checked first if its at the proper level first before you try replacing the switch which will need to be evacuated first
