My wife's Odyssey all of a sudden will not stay running. It will run at an extremely low rpm for 1-2 seconds then die. While its "running" it sounds like an old carberated engine that is "running on".

I do hear the fuel pump come on for a few seconds when the key is turned on but I am not able to check the fuel pressure. Its stranded in the driveway of my daughters friends house. The wife went to get her...when she went to leave it wouldnt start. It started 3 times that same day with no problems. Her last trip as 15miles or so.

The immobilizer system seems to function properly and I have tried multiple factory keys.

The battery is less than 3 months old.

Does this sound like it could be the IACV? If so is there a way to temporarily bypass it...just to try and troubleshoot.

The van has 272k on it.

If your check engine light is on i would check for codes that popup
