Booster for ITR MC
I have been searching online and on H-T for about a day now...
Car is a 93 Civic Si track car (Canadian EH3). I am currently getting what is needed to upgrade from Integra front brakes to ITR brakes.
Basically, I am all set for everything, except the brake booster. I bought a new ITR MC, since I consider this a wear part, and I don't want to deal with time lost due to faulty components.
However, the ITR brake booster seems to cost way too much for what it is new (upwards of $500, wth), so I am thinking of getting something used. It looks like these are almost impossible to find used, which is not surprising.
I looked online, and the CRV 290v booster appears to have the same part number, but I have seen no 100% positive confirmation that it actually is the same unit, or that it actually works with an ITR MC. Can anyone on here confirm?

Oh, thanks for the heads up. I just ordered a Cardone 532711 refurbished booster from a Canadian website to save on exchange and shipping/customs.
A little more expensive, but I prefer having that rather than a junker from an unknown source (along with fitment guarantee). Set me back about $200 USD shipped to my door. Makes a lot more sense.

Sorry, I just saw your reply.
If you want it done right, you will need the 1 inch master cylinder and matching Integra booster. Note that all 98+ Integras w/ABS have the same MC/booster setup (ITR or not).
Many people argue that a 15/16 will do the job, but in my case, it was going on a track car, so I wanted it done right, with the larger MC and double diaphragm booster (that + my 15/16 was dead, so I figured I might as well upgrade).
If your master does not move enough fluid for the larger brakes, your pedal may feel a little bit mushy, and it will be harder to modulate the brakes. It will still stop the car nonetheless.
