92 Accord EX Wagon Just Quit
I have a 92 Accord EX wagon with 175k on the body and (supposedly) rebuilt engine about 15,000 miles ago (I have the receipts). I bought the car from a friend who babied the car and replaced just about every part that could wear on it. I love this car, it drives like a dream (drove like a dream) and is in excellent condition for its age. The other day I was accelerating on to the freeway and it just quit. I pulled over turned the key and it turned over, but wouldn't fire.
I had it towed to my mechanic and he tells me that it has no spark and no fuel. He's been scratching his head about this. All the fuses are fine. He pulled the valve cover and he tells me the timing belt is a bit loose (amazingly enough, when they rebulit it, they DIDN'T replace the timing belt). I have a couple of questions:
1. Any suggestions on what to look for?
2. I bought the car 2 years ago and it was literally owned by a little old lady who kept it garaged for most of its life. I love the way it drove. It was peppy, and cornered like a banshee. The car is in such good condition, I paid pretty good money for it- especially since it had the newly rebuilt engine in it. I don't really want to dump another $2000+ into it to repair it. Is there any market to sell a non-running ex wagon in really good condition? Or shall I have it towed to the wrecking yard if I cannot get it running? I have no clue about a car of this age.
I am now 60 years old and getting in and out of it is getting a little tougher, so if came down to the wire that I would have to do major engine repairs, I'd probably just try to get rid of it. Any idea of a value? It has all the upgrades. Comments?

I would look at the PGM-FI MAIN Relay, unplug it and test for the 3 powers...
1- 12V constant, [hot at all times].
2- 12V switched, [hot in run and start].
3- 12V switched, [hot only when cranking to start].
Also confirm ground, the black lead at relay plug is ground, confirm it has full continuity to chassis ground.
I would also redo your main grounds, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine, disconnect/clean/reconnect, do not just eyeball them.
Try this, turn ign. on to run, not all the way to start, you should hear the hum of the fuel pump priming and the CEL should turn on, after no more then 3sec. the pump should turn off and the CEL should go out, is any of that happening? 94
