Go a different route, something that still has replacement parts available.
A clutch type LSD will continue to function when a wheel is unloaded (airborne, ice, oil, etc) whereas a helical type will function as an open diff in the situation. Most clutch types can also be adjusted to behave differently.

looks like king motorsports still has a rebuild kit for the mugen lsd
I just don't know if I should keep it or trade it for an oem itr lsd for my daily/weekend warrior
Mugen Limited-Slip Differential Repair Parts - LSD Rebuild Kit 04411-XB2-00RA - King Motorsports Unlimited, Inc.

How many miles of each type of driving do you put on it in a year?
How often are you comfortable tearing the trans down to rebuild the LSD?
How long will King have the kits available? The LSD has been discontinued for some time now.
