Default Idle control with S2 ultra race manifold

How do you control your cold and hot idle without IACV control?
Thank you

I see supra guys using ford IACVs controlled through AEM Infinity and they seem to idle pretty well. Something I considered doing was connecting a hose off of the manifold and controlled the amount of air that goes through it through maybe a manual boost controller. Open it up for cold starts and shut it when the engine is warm or when you are about to race so you don't lose boost. Just a thought...
