So my speedo on my 2001 f4i has been working intermittently (most of the time just reads 0, sometimes works). I did some research, went and bought a new speed sensor and swapped it (huge pain). Put everything back together and still doesn't work. The connection where the VSS plugs in seemed in really good shape still. Is there another common connection area that people have had problems with? Something I'm missing?

 

Just an update...Went through and checked all the connections with a multi-meter and everything is good. Just for safe measure I sprayed all of them down with contact cleaner and used some electrical grease and it is still not working. I am pretty stumped.
