I have a replacement used gearbox for my Honda Accord 2001. On the original gearbox 2 of the 3 mounting stud bolts came out complete with nut still attached. On the 3rd the nut came off leaving the stud behind in the gearbox.


On the replacement, it has 2 of the studs in (nuts missing), the other is out.


So what would be the best solution, try to remove the extra stud on the replacement gearbox (without the nut fitted), if so how. Or should I try to remove the nuts from the original studs to put on the studs on the replacement gearbox.
