Hi I am new here. I have a 91 GS Integra.
I am 35 years old and have always worked on 2 strokes and done stereo installs, so I have tons of tools and felt pretty confident about working on my Integra. It started out so well....
Stripped the car to the bare metal and sanded and and painted the interior metal. There is about 125 feet of Dynamat in the car now. Mostly on the larger resonant panels, the trunk, the doors got 2 or 3 times as much going on. Put in the 1/0 cables while everything was out of the car. I then packed all the open cavities that could not get wet with acoustic open cell foam and between most plastic and body panels as I re-installed them.
Stereo is Kenwood cd player, Diamond audio 600.4 and Image Dynamics Csx 6.5 Components. Sub was a kicker 15 in 3.5 cubes tuned to 32hz. Stolen out of car from my driveway last week. no windows broken. Still have components and amp.
It also has tokico blue struts and Neuspeed springs, its dropped pretty good on the old school integra stockers. The clutch started to act funny and I ripped the transmission out with the help of friend and was almost to the halfway point when we started to realize that things in the clutch housing were pretty f-ed and that brought me here.
Will start a new thread in the appropriate forum. Hello, if you are a machinist or love fixing fucked up situations please check out some of my posts in the future.
