For sale:

1991 Honda Civic Si. I am the second owner of this car; it was purchased off a family friend in 2001. Clean title. Previous owner used it for nothing other than commuting and all the miles shown are highway miles. It was always a Tennessee/Alabama car and has absolutely zero rust on it and has never seen salt or snow. I've had it in my garage it's entire life and I don't believe it has seen rain in the 15 years that I've owned it. To say it is clean is an understatement. This is probably one of the few remaining original and rust-free Si's in North America. Pictures do not do it justice.

Mileage: 119,000, all highway miles.
Color: Rio Red

Over the years, I have replaced and done most all maintenance that is needed for these cars, including the following. I have most of these receipts that show the parts:

- Timing belt/water pump
- rear trailing arm bushings (Mugen)
- rear drums, rear wheel cylinders, brakelines
- front rotors, brake pads, brake lines
- brake master cylinder
- misc front bushings, motor mounts
- New OEM clutch, pressure plate and bearings
- NGK Spark plugs and plug wires
- New OEM Honda muffler and OEM exhaust tips
- New OEM Honda battery
- OE plastic underhood clips, fuel cap, radiator cap, etc. If I could buy it from the Honda dealer still, I probably did.


Engine is original to the car and has never been apart or modified in any way internally. Runs very good, starts easily, idles well, etc. No leaks whatsoever. Valve cover is 100% original and has not been repainted.

There are a few aftermarket parts on it:

- DC Sports 4-2-1 Stainless Steel header. Also comes with stock exhaust manifold
- Genuine Spoon Sports front and rear strut tower bars (can be removed)
- Brand new Koni Shock kit # 1145-1020. (entails of Koni Yellows and Eibach Pro Kit Springs, lowers about 1")
- K&N OE replacement air filter
- JDM EF SIR LED rear hatch wing painted Rio Red. Also includes the original wing as well.
- Set of 15x6" OEM Civic Accessory wheels. Includes the original Si hubcaps as well.

Factory accessories include the following and came on the car when new in 1991:

- Radio upgrade kit with optional radio console, cassette player and graphic EQ. Everything works and sounds great
- Set of OE floor mats. Drivers shows a bit of wear but the rest are like new
- Set of 4 OE mudflaps
- Still has the OE rear cargo cover and it's still in one piece.

Most of the paint is 100% original; it has NOT been repainted. However, the previous owner hit an animal in the road and had to have the front bumper resprayed and blended into the fender. This is the only non-original paint on the car that I can find. The front bumper probably needs to be realigned a bit and perhaps touched up, but otherwise it isn't too bad.

A few dings here and there on the hood and the top, but nothing a dent wizard cannot remove.

The interior is absolutely spotless. Seats are original and have not been repaired. A petite girl put all the miles on it and she was extremely kind to the seats and interior. There is the usual spot on this car where the door was closed on the seatbelt, but that's extremely common and it is the only part of the interior that I would not call mint. Sunroof works perfectly.

The body itself is completely rust free. I cannot begin to describe how clean this car is underneath and all around. There is zero signs of rust on the rear fenders or anywhere else. In this aspect you'd think it just rolled off the showroom.

Also includes the original window sticker, original dealer prep sheet, owners manual, etc.

I just checked craigslist and saw 6 of a similar car but 4 had vtech and they didn't want nearly as much so I was going to ask for you to lower your price so I will make an offer to you that I will say is good because the other six cars were good too but not red and I like red so I offer $3000.

I wish I had the space for it. I would gladly give it a good home if I had a place for it. And I would offer you a decent amount and not 3/8ths of what you are asking. It's a very fine example of OEM-ness.

I don't normally like these older civics, but this is so clean, the red is beautiful. Too bad my garage is full!
