91 dx hatch - B20 crank pulley hits radius arm
Hey guys I cant find a thread to actually answer my question. I have a 91 dx hatch, in the middle of gathering parts for a b20b swap, ill be using hasport mounts btw. anyway I've heard of peoples crank pulley hitting the radius arm? should I be worried. and if this is true what pulley should I get? I don't have ps and wont be running my ac.
It sounds like this may become an issue if you've lowered your car.
There's a great website called Google, I used it and found this link in about 10 seconds.

Mine used to when I had an LS. Only when I turned into my driveway. I was using ebay mounts at the time. As I see it, you have 2 options:
1 - CTR crank pulley.
2 - Have your crank pulley machined to take off the ac and ps
Everyone talks bad about the CTR pulley and I had it on my B16b (a given), my B18a1, and B18c1 with none of the issues people claim.

I have a GSR-swapped '90 hatch and had this same issue. Mine rubbed so bad one time it shut my engine off. lol I'm on old mounts (Innovative, maybe?) and a CTR N1 pulley with no issues after a couple years. I'm also running an Innovative traction bar, but I think with the Hasport mounts, you'll probably be good. I'd recommend the pulley though just in case.
