Can someone hook me up w/ housing either on Friday night or Sunday night? Somewhere around NC/VA border along the route of ATL -> D.C.

I'll even take housing in Charlotte, if the crazy N.C. we-todds can hook me up. For your help, I'll buy a nice steak dinner.

I really need Sunday night's housing help... Friday, I can drive straight if I have to.

My Route:
ATL -> G'boro -> somehow head up North to D.C.

What's a better way to get to D.C. from ATL?

1. Go North on Charlotte towards Statesville, Roanoke then head east???

or

2. Go NorthEast on Charlotte through Raleigh and Richmod then head north to DC???

I think #1 should be faster, since there will be less traffic, but I remember it being boring as hell w/ nothing close to civilization.

 

depends on the driving times... if you have to go thru RDU during rush hour (3:30-6:30) the I-81 route may be the best...

Rt-29N may be another option....
