I am electronics hobbyist and installed many alarms in the past but in cars without factory alarms. What is the typical thing done about the factory alarm when you install e.g. an Avital 3300L. Not into remote start. Do you then carry around 2 of the unlock dongles or will the Avital take over and if so, are there circumstances where the factory alarm will enable itself without your wanting it to?
