EK9 Civic Type R Progress Thread
Hi Honda Tech
My name is Dante. 25 year old car enthusiast. I've always been really into BMWs and Porsches but have had a soft spot for Hondas for as long as I can remember. I thought it'd be fun to start a progress thread here for my new pride and joy- a 1998 Civic Type R.
First, here are some previously owned cars
1982 BMW 320i

1998 CRV

1995 E36 M3 (3.2 S52 swap, 3.38 diff, GC coils, all poly bushings, strut bars, adjustable sway bars, full exhaust headers back, etc etc) currently stored at a friend's house

Currently driving:
2004 Fit (the extremely reliable $600 beater)

And the new pick up- 98 Civic Type R (Spoon strut bars, Spoon intake, Spoon front brakes, Spoon cat back + mid section, Tein coilovers, + more) Didn't come with the SW388s, wing or mirrors.

Ek9s PO's new DC5

This is the first time I've purchased a car that was already modified, and IMO with good taste. I'm trying to change the car to be unique to me and what I like but it's hard as I already really like a lot of what the PO has done.
I'll have a lot of questions for you Honda experts as my car knowledge base is pretty BMW biased. I'll post more pics and updates as they come. Thanks for looking!
