Default 93 civic lx wheel cylinder steel brake line

I broke the steel brake line that connects to the rear wheel cylinder cause I stripped the 10mm fitting. Where can I find this part? Can I replace with rubber hose?

did you even look at any 93 Civic Sedan LX diagrams online, available from many honda oem parts sites? or visit a dealership's parts dept? Might want to check there first, but does look like it's still available. Next time, use a flare wrench instead of a regular box or open ended wrench, will stop you from stripping it.

and no, it's steel for a reason.. wouldn't out-guess the engineers. bad things could happen.

go get a short length of premade 3/16" metric brake line from your local auto parts store. ive done this multiple times, iirc 12" is the length you need.

duh.. yeah that's an option too! Just custom make your own, it's a short run anyway. Guess I was getting lazy with pre-made parts.. lol
