Carbon fiber or oem
What's going on guys on my 06 coupe I rear ended my friend because this guy in front of him brake checked super hard. Either way I replaced the rad,rad support, headlights, and the hood so far. The hood I went seibon matte carbon fiber. Now with the fenders I'm not sure which way I wanna go. I can get carbon fiber but I'm seeing 800 shipped as the lowest. But the fenders I can order pre painted if I send them my paint code/ vin #. But then again my car is an 06 and has some mild sun damage on the roof. So I assume brand new paint wouldn't match. But on my old fenders and hood there wasn't any paint damage. I think it can still fade though? The fenders pre painted shipped I'm looking at about 250. This is off eBay might I add. I just want anyone's suggestions from past experiences. Thanks!
Get oem fenders from a junkyard, the aftermarket ones are usually thin metal.
Bring it to a body shop, have the stuff all painted by them including the roof and 1/4s if they're faded too. Pay extra to make the paint nice and not cheap.
Also have them spec the frame rails. Otherwise have the insurance company total it out and forget about it. It isn't wrong doing it wrong.
