Wondering how to do my tire/rim setup
2001 CR-V 5-speed
Hey everybody,
just trying not to make any mistakes that will require serious modification to mend. I have kumho LT235/75R tires that I'm looking to mate to some rims. I'm about to put in my OME lift springs (which by the way if you have advice as to how I should compress those bad boys, please let me know) so what kind of backspacing should I be looking for to avoid any rubbing? I'd like to shoot for the lowest offset possible (0 or maybe -6) to get that rally tires-stick-out-past-fenders look. So has anybody run 15x8 rims with 4.25-4.5 backspacing without need for serious modification? Thanks for any and all insight you all provide!
Cheers

You may still have to do some trimming and banging of metal in the wheel wells. You didnt mention if you have a 15 or 16 in rim. Also an 8mm spacer will usually help clear the calipers in front. Check out the lifted crv thread for tons of info
