i got a 1993 Honda accord lx f22a1 auto the d4 light flashes sometimes and the fuel pump will not prime when that happens i can cycle the key a few times and it will go away i checked the ACU and found no burnt stuff what else do i need to check?

 

Did you check for codes?
Passenger side kick panel, two wire blue connector.
Jumper it, turn ignition to II(ON) watch codes, record, report back here.

If the fuel pump doesn't prime as well it might be related, possibly an issue with the ignition switch or main relay.

Any recent work done?
Anything new added to the car?
Any changes done to the car what so ever?

 

1 2 7 14 so im looking at both o2s? theres 2 on this car? for 7 and 14 i just replaced the IACV and where is the main relay on this im looking under my dash/steering wheel and can find it

 

well i replaced the main relay and i got no more flashing after driving for some time what should this car idle at 500rpm? 1k? mine like 300-500 and it does not sound like it should

 

Check your underhood emissions label for the correct idle speed.

IIRC it should be 750rpm +- 50 while in Drive. Use a proper tuneup tach, such as one found on timing gun. Dash tach is not always that accurate.

 

well after finally getting around to it i found out why it was not idling right it was burning oil and fouling out the plugs not much but just the right amount to not notice out the tail pipe i decided to do an engine swap on it picked up a good h23a1 for 200$ from a running car. Now i have the p14 a/t ecu for the engine i need to know is the f22a1 and h23a1 have the same pin out?
