Sunroof install
Has anyone had a plain roof and ended up installing a sunroof in their car? Just trying to judge the level of difficulty before I even think of attempting it. Would it be best to take it and have it professionally done or just scrap the whole idea all together?
Scrap the idea.
Either sell the car and buy an EX model with the sunroof, or forget it.
I have never seen a single aftermarket sun/moon roof install that lasted, they all eventually leak(badly), have no after purchase support, and no one can fix them when the seal or motors go bad.

I agree with Mike. Sell your car and that money you'll spend on a sunroof can easily get you an EX model with a factory one installed. But if you're already deciding on installing one on your car try 6thgenaccord. When i had my 99v6 i figured that installing a spoiler and sunroof were just an extra waste. Im sure one of the veterans have a reference. I just dont have any knowledge on that tho (:
Ok. Well time to start hunting one then. Maybe I can score one with Vtec and manual tranny that way I won't have to worry with a swap down the road. That's what I had planned to do with this Accord. Thanks guys.
Just look at EX models. That will get you 2/3rds the way there.
I have a 1990 accord ex, this one didn't have a sunroof from factory however some idiot that didn't know anything put one in and it doesn't leak a lot but it does leak given the right conditions which is f$@&!&$ annoying! So when people say don't do it if it doesn't have one already I recommend you listen to them, you will save yourself time and a wet @$$ lol
