So over the years I have searched these boards so i'm not really new, but thought i'd show you guys what i've been up to, and my current project.
97' Civic EX d16y8.. Ended up turbo charging it, with an Egay kit (i know), it actually drove fine for 12k miles until it finally exploded #3 rod. No tune, just basemap, my ignorance.. fun while it lasted. here are some pictures of that, along with what i'm up to now.

got this motor from the hills of kentucky for $500. miles unsure, but compression is good and oil was clean.






New clutch while it's easily accessible. old clutch didn't look bad




clean up the trans a bit and it's back bolted to the block. going to do the timing belt and manual tensioner swap, along with some other gaskets and such before the install. using Innovative engine mounts, and yonaka swap axles, and an accord shifter box, linkages. P28 OBD1 chipped ECU, and custom making my own wiring harness since stock harness is OBD2, so using a conversion harnes into the ECU, and swapping plugs to OBD1 (pain in the *** i know).
