Default New Project Honda Accord.

I just got a 2002 Honda Accord VP that was in desperate need of some TLC. I had to put a couple hundred dollars worth of parts into the motor and tranny to get it back running decently. I was able to save myself some money by doing the labor myself. The car is a base 4 cylinder (Non Vtec) with auto tranny. I am now considering doing a motor and tranny swap. I have found someone with a i-Vtec motor and manual tranny and I'm possibly gonna buy it. The deal comes with the Motor, Trans, Radiator, Shifting cable, Computer and a few other essential parts out of a '08 Accord. I am aware of the possibility of having to do some fab work but I'm new to the Honda world and I'm just trying to gauge from you all if this would be a wise route to go with my Accord. If anyone has already attempted this successfully, I would greatly appreciate some hints, tips and tricks. Thanks for giving this thread a read and I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all have to say.
