Default Replacing reclining motor on an '04 Accord. Anyone done it?

Hello,

My recliner motor has burnt out and I'm planning to pick this up:
81237-SDB-A71 | Honda MOTOR, RECLINING - Bernardi Parts

Has anyone replaced theirs before? Is it simple enough to figure out?

there's a lot of small clips the metal ones you have to remove I believe there called hog clips. Its better to have the Factory service manual and go from there. But for the procedure is to remove the seat assembly and all the electrical connectors and vehicle harness under the seat and then remove the seat back held on 2 white clips. But be super careful because the back part of the seat costs as much as one Leather seat skin. after that remove all the seat clips and clamps and also the springs. I would buy the Factory service manual first if you don't have it and go from there. And remember to disconnect the battery for the side airbag in the seat.

Thanks for the response! Sounds like a bit of work, but not impossible.

Your welcome i also forgot to add you have to get more of the seat clips that look like staples from Honda and a commercially available tool for them to reassemble the leather seat. When I replaced my drivers side seat skins and foams. I couldn't really reuse them plus with the new foams and skins. I thought it would be a good idea to replace them.

Hog clamps...I think thats what they are called and yes that special tool will make your life easier during re-installation.
