Door remote quit working and will not lock/unlock anything. replace the batteries. I went thru the steps of turning keyswitch on and pressing the lock on remote and then off.(4 times). bought new remote and still cannot get it to work. The door switch on inside of door does work. It will lock and unlock so the locks is working just having trouble with remote. Thanks for the help in advance.

 

does anybody know what the door remote controls to unlock the doors?

 

There will be an "RF" receiver or keyless entry unit in the car and is part of the multiplex system, [back of drivers side fuse box] on a 98 I believe, but may be a dealer add on for the LX. 94
