Default 1993 Honda Accord Clicking Noise

I've had this issue for a few months, & finally it has gotten on my nerves. It is a clicking sound, that repeats every second or two, almost like clockwork. WHen the blinker is on, and I can hear the sound, it clicks evenly on an opposite pattern of the blinker (blinker, noise, blinker, noise, etc).

Usually, I only notice this sound (which sounds like it comes from under the hood, close to the cab) when I'm stopped: at an intersection, in a drive thru, etc. I have done a little troubleshooting, & it is mainly only when I put my foot on the brake. I can shift into neutral, & let my foot off the brake & it (usually) stops. Occasionally, it clicks when I am using my turn signals, clicking on an opposite pattern to the signal. I have noticed that when I use my wipers, & they are moving, it goes silent, but if they are on a long delay, it clicks when they are still.

Sometimes it continues, even after I let off the brake, but it does not persist when I press the accelerator, even slightly. I have ruled out it being an AC compressor sound, as I do not use the AC and to my knowledge, it is disconnected.

Not entirely sure what this could be, as I haven't found anything exactly matching this issue online, & don't have a reliable mechanic near me. If I can fix it myself, I'd prefer that.

I will try to respond quickly to any questions.

edited for clarity, and not to sound like a douche.

The way you said it follows the blinker and where the sound is coming from gives me the impression that It could be your door chime getting a slight trickle of power making the chime sound like a click instead. I'd check the switch usually between the hinges Either on the door or the body, also turns your some light on when the door is opened. It may be sticking and not fully disengaging when the door is shut. All the conditions where you say it stops clicking you are turning something on or drawing more power to the engine. If there's a loose connection somewhere restricting electricity it could cause a week powered device to stop when you turn another device on.
