So I finally got around to putting on a Y8 intake manifold a buddy gave me a while back, all was going fine until I started running the lines. It looks like I'm missing a port for where the evap solenoid vacuum hooks up to on the manifold. Of course it can't go smooth, is there another way to route it or am I gonna have to source out another manifold?
Could you not just 'T' it off the port that is already there?
I know that port will go to your pcv.. Both pull air from the manifold..
That manifold look different then the y8 I'm using..
You have a Rare 5spd y8 manifold OBD2A..

See post #502
That user have the exact same manifold as yours. He mentioned how to get it hook up correctly.. You can go back 1 more page and there are more info on how to hook it up..
Good luck.

The intake manifold pulls pressure from both. You could run then both from a T fitting in a naturally aspirated system.
Pcv systems are always ***** and a dirty system. Technically if you had a large oil leak or missing dip stick the intake manifold is sucking in unfilteted air through those leaks back into the oiling system and into the intake

Thanks for confirming, I thought the manifold pulled air from the PCV, and you also say it pulls from the solenoid.
The poster was saying the opposite, that the items pulled air from the manifold which didn't seem to make sense to me. Especially being that I understand the operation of the PCV valve itself.
None the less, the T connector works as the IM is creating a vacuum for both the PCV and the Solenoid. That's good info.
