Top Hats
Ok I just picked up a 1990 CRX with 260,000+ miles on it and doesnt look like the suspension ever got changed. This is my new project car and will be swamping a B18C in it soon. I just bought a set of Progress SC2 with 450 F / 450 R springs rates. I know for a fact that the car was hit on the Front Right at one point in its life so Im thinking that I should go ahead and change out the top hats also. not planning on slamming the car but I will lower it to maximize the performance of the suspension so i also picked up a Skunk2 front/back camber kit. My question is what top hats should I get? Honda or Name Brand?

Top hats never wear out. Unless they're rusted or damaged physically, they're fine. They're just metal plates.
The bushings may wear over time. Integra Type R or S2000 top hat bushings (from Honda...or off someone's used suspension) are a good choice. You can replace the rubber isolator with a polyurethane one from summit racing or wherever. Some coilovers come with isolators.
