I just recently purchased a 1989 Honda Civic hatchback with STD motor. I got it for 200$ in perfectly good running condition with minor body rust. I would like to build the car up since I bought it for so cheap. Since it's the 4 speed STD motor I'm pretty sure that leaves me no room for improvement with out dropping in a d16 motor and 5 speed tranny. Please let me know what kind of approach I should take on this build. I'd like around a 300-350hp car at the finish. Thank you.

 

B series Turbo if you really want 300+ HP.

 

Does the b series tranny and engine bolt right up to std mounts?

 

You will need mounts, shift linkage and axles at a minimum. Hasport can provide all of these.
