So my car will start and idle for a while..

I take it around the block and come to a stop and it looses power/gas pedal abd just dies. Happens every time. Eventually it starts but after a while 5-10 min and some cranking. Isn't good because if it happens on the road or at a light.. Its dangerous to be playing under the hood or just messing around at all...

I have no clue why it does this. Its a obd0 to obd1 conversion. Have had car for close to 10 years sat recently for 2. Had inspected and is legal and all on road. Just the car has this issue. I was in the distributor.. Thinking it's a issue there. I did have a bad ICM and replaced it twice. It has a new fuel pump. I'm trying to sell the car. Seems like such a soft market.

i have a b16 Crx and i seem to have a similar problem, when my engines cold sometimes if i stop at a stopsign or light my engine will bog to 1-200 rpm or die, once it dies it always cranks on though

 

any idea on why?

Reason it does it

Distributor? Bad wires? grounds?
