Default Is the Stock o2 a Wideband?

Wondering about the stock 4 wire o2 Sensor on OBD2 cars. Vehicle in particular is a 97 Civic and it will be turbo'd soon but im trying to keep it in budget by buying a AEM Uego kit minus the sensor. it will come with a 4 foot extension for the o2 sensor but the bosch sensor wouldnt be included so i'd like to re-use my currently "good" o2 sensor if possible. Some kits do have disclaimers that they're gauge will olny work with particular sensors so i am aware of that much. lol

Stock o2 sensors are "narrowband" meaning they operate within a narrow band of signal; 0-1v. Wideband o2 sensors operate from 0-5v, giving you more precise measuring of the AFR.

Will you be using the sensor to control closed loop, or just monitor AFR?

Pretty sure you need their O2 sensor as it has a plug that connects to the gauge side plug, if I remember correctly. Haven't looked under my hood recently, so I can't be sure.

Thanks for the info. my stock sensor wont be useable with an Aem Uego kit then. Now to continue the search for a used one.
