Default hatch is all smashed up but considering front end conversion

i hit a kia from behind yesterday and messed up the front end of my car. the front bumper, left fender, hood and left light are no more. since i need all of the parts i am considering a front end conversion. possibly si conversion. i already talked to the auto shop(orange county automotive) and they will do it and write it up like they bought original parts for my car and they said it wont be a problem. the insurance company will pay for it. any more ideas or things i should consider.

99-00 front end looks much better than the 96-98's.....go for it, just make sure it is a clean job

im almost 100% sure im doing it and the auto shop is one of the best around. they get brand new ferarri's sent to them so they can detail them before the owner picks them up. they are good at what they do. cant wait now.

i was thinking of that because it would win me mad points at all the local shows but then i remembered that it would make me one of the stupidest people alive and so i decided to do the 99-00 si conversion.haha

You can find 'em on the internet for $475-525 (the 99-00 EK9 headlights). You'll probably get $350-450 from your insurance company to replace your broken 96-98 headlights. I got my EK9 headlights when I was in an accident, and I broke even from what I got from the insurance co vs. what I paid for mine.

I know a local shop that can get them for $420 shipped (cost) with a pair of Polarg bulbs from Japan that are like $60 a pair (for free). PM me if interested. They'd probably mark it up to like $450, but that's still a good deal.
