I bought 98 civic ex with the above mentioned coilovers , and I hit a pretty substantial bump in the road and the rod coming out the top of the coilovers is extended out, I took the tire off checked every underneath and everything is fine, tried to tighten the nut thinking maybe it just ed worked it's way loose, but I can't get it , any help would be appreciated, pictures are attached. Thanks.

 

If you got both the top, and bottom washer, then it looks like you need to replace those bushings. The only way to tighten that top nut is with an impact gun. If that doesn't tighten things up, then looks like new bushings.
