My car won't start
Ok, the car has been running fine. then comes cold weather. one day its 55, starts fine. next day 43, starts kinda rough. next day, 35, barely starts. next day 25-30 and snow. doesn't start at all. now it still doesn't wanna start. i've had a coolant issue, with the hose being too big, and the resevoir is almost empty. i made sure all grounds are connected, battery is fine, plugs/wires are fine.... any suggestions to what it could be? it turns and turns and turns, but never fires up. i have fuel pressure too, so i don't think it's that.... HELP!!!!!
did you check for spark?
check that before anything.
then air
then fuel.
also check your radiatior cap and look at your radiator fluid. make sure there isn't any black spots floating around. first sign of bad head gasket.

damn, the same **** happened to my car. i was sitting at a red light and the car started to shake a little, then it went dead. i tried restarting it and it turned and turned but wouldn't fire up. it felt like my car just ran out of gas, but i know that it was not it because i just filled up the day before. right now my car is sitting in my garage. sounds a little similar to your problem, but don't know if our cars have the same problem because you mention temperature an awful lot. I live in sunny southern california!
yeah, that's kinda how it went the last time. i finally got it started, and started driving, i rounded a corner, and it stalled. i trield popping the clutch, and it stalled right out.. and it still doesn't start.

You guys are funny.. Quit poking fun at the dude..
Check the obvious first..
When it's cold outside like 30 degrees, your Starter will draw 150% of it's Starter Draw. That's probably around 200 amps..
Well it would make sense that if your BAttery sucks and is Sulfating, that would be your problem..
The colder it gets, the more Amperage the Starter will try and draw from the Battery. And since the battery doesn't have that much Amperage left in it, it won't turn the Armature in the Starter..
What I would do is take the BAttery over to a shop like Napa or AutoZone and have them run a Load Test on it. Have them test it at half the CCA reading first.. Then have them test it at about 120 Amps and then at 180 Amps. If the BAttery can't survive that, I'd change the Battery and the problem should be solved..
But then again, it could be because the Starter Solenoid's Disc is pitted and isn't allowing enough Amperage to reach the Starter.. But since you said that it starts fine in warm weather, I'd have to scratch that off the list...
Good Luck.. Got questions on Starting Systems, Just Shoot..

seriously.
check for spark, ignitor could be bad and when the car warms up thats whats making it die out.
or do as they stated, check the starter and battery voltage.
also you said you had cooling issues, its not likely but its possible the head gasket may be burnt.
