Y7 to y8 swap
I got this 5 speed roller with a blown motor for 50 bucks yesterday.
I've been driving this 97 ex coupe and I was debating about pulling the y8 out of it, replacing all the rubber and HG, and lastly putting it into the roller. The transmission on the y8 is slipping, everything is leaking, it's awful.
I was wondering how hard it would be to just drop the y8 into the 5 speed since I have all the parts I need between the two cars.
Any special wiring? Mounts?
How hard is it to resurface a head at home?
Is it worth the work with how old the y8 is? (212k)
