Default Front tow hook(required for Dyno)

I have a 94 Ex and I'm wondering if anyone has a good solution for front tow hook(s)? I removed my stock ones a while back because they were completely smashed. I was doing some reading and it looks like I cant hit the dyno without them.

I was looking at the basic universal 6 hole ones but I'm not sure how they will line up. I think the 97 bumper will be in the way if I try a straight shot from the front frame rail.

There is no way in hell I'm going to connect anything to the front radiator support like I have seen in a bunch of videos.

I could easily bolt up some straps to the stock mounting holes but will that be adequate for strapping down to the dyno?

I was thinking about adding 2 in the front, I'm looking for functionally and not so much for the bling factor, honestly having something just slightly visible would be cool but not really a requirement at this point.

Front rad support...you mean the front subframe? The piece that the tension rod bushing secure into? That's one of the most solid structures on the car. My car was strapped down there, I saw a friend's Accord strapped down there. It works just fine, you don't need the tow-hooks.

Nope.. some of the "instructions" say to drill into the radiator support.
Yea front subframe is solid. Reading requirements for some of the Dyno Days and they require Tow Hooks. I'm sure using the subframe would be fine but I would hate to drive 2 hours, wait 6 hours to get on the Dyno then have someone tell me no because I didn't meet the requirements.

Ill have to inspect my car a bit but I'm not sure the subframe will work to secure the tow hook. Maybe... but the opening on the front bumper cover and the Radiator pretty much block everything. I was thinking the stock holes on the frame would be the best but they wont line up most likely either. I really need to get my hands on one of these 6 hole generic ones and see how it lines up.

Maybe ill just order some stockers from ebay and bolt them up.

I just went out and inspected it a bit. The 3 stock bolt locations sit above the radiator and front subframe. The opening in the front bumper cover is definitely blocked by the radiator. I suppose I could use the 2 bolts for the front crossmember on both sides, that pretty much lines up directly with the underside of the bumper. I'm not sure It will be especially useful that close to the bumper and any lower it would scrape on every incline.

It does seem like you could create a brace that goes just in front of the radiator, you would use plates on both side that bolt to the stock locations then maybe a thick piece of pipe to connect the 2 then thread the hooks directly to the pipe.

Or maybe I should just order some stockers.

Why not just re-weld to the stock location?

That said, the JACCS Accord has a tow hook mounted below the passenger turn signal, I assume mounted to the frame where the bumper connects.

I was looking for a solution where I didn't need to cut a hole in my bumper. I was hoping someone had an idea where it would route thru the mouth of the bumper cover. I guess I would need to fab something up to make that happen. I think ill just get a set of stock ones. They just bolt back in, no big deal.

Those accords are pretty sweet.
