Default Master cylinder problem?

Hi. I was having a problem with my front left brake not operating properly intermittently, but the problem would go as quickly as it came. I then had an issue with the rear right and noticed it had worn the outer pad down to metal, yet the inner still had 50% left on it. When fitting new pads to the rear, I saw the caliper was a bit shoddy and had pitting on the pot, so I replaced it. All quite simple, even for a novice like myself. However, when I attempted to bleed the brakes, no matter what, I was getting no fluid coming to the rear right side. After checking the line was okay and not blocked, I removed the 2 lines from the master cylinder to find no fluid is coming from the rear one (which feeds those 2 wheels). I have tried bleeding this, but no luck.

So my question is: do I need a new master cylinder?

Thanks for reading

Edit* Forgot to mention. This is on a 2002 manual 2.0 CRV, in case this makes a difference :-)
