Default Modifying oem front bumper

So my buddy asked me to make sheet metal pieces to block the holes on his front bumper for his drag civic. I got really bored the other day and decided to get out the plastic welder and do it different. I'm using my bumper since it was cut out anyways. Just need to find a piece big enough for the center hole. I used pieces from another bumper to weld in the sides. Little more sanding and those will be perfect. What do you guys think so far?

Well, I think it looks good so far.
Use a piece from a rear bumper?
But it's ironic that he seeks zero opening (would think you'd leave something for cooling) but still has a front plate?
