Default Crx undercooling

My crx heater doesn't work so I flushed the heater core. The heater still didn't work after that so I tried flushing it again and still the heater doesn't work. I noticed the temperature needle never got to half or close. It only ever gets about to 1/4. So I thought for sure the thermostat was stuck open. I took it out and it was like new. Works fine. Now I am stuck. I drive the crx everywhere still but it never has heat and it never warms up. Anyone have any clue to what it is? Or could be?

I hear you saying you think your heater core isn't even getting hot, but have you checked the cable linkage under the core? It's a common issue for non working heaters.

Yes, no heat is correct. I checked for the linkage underneath the dash (air mix flap or whatever it is) and it looks connected. Could I be looking at the wrong one or something?

Yes, place check water valve linkage/cable at firewall behind engine on pass side... http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...R+VALVE+-+DUCT #23, make sure valve is working. 94
